History of the Japan Fluid Power System Society

Mar. 13, 1970 The Japan Hydraulics & Pneumatics Association was established.
Dec. 20, 1982 Ministry of Education granted permission to establish the Japan Hydraulic & Pneumatic Society.
Feb. 1, 1983 The Japan Society of Hydraulic and Pneumatics was established.
Mar. 13, 1989 The first JFPS International Symposium was held in Tokyo.
Sep. 6, 1993 The second JFPS International Symposium held in Tokyo (since then, it was held in autumn, every three years).
Aug. 28, 2001 Renaming to the Japan Fluid Power System Society was approved.
Apr. 1, 2012 Transition to general incorporated association was approved.
