Founded in 1963, Fukuoka Institute of Technology is located in Fukuoka City, the largest city in Kyushu, and its eco-friendly campus is now home to more than 4,300 students as of May 2015.
With our management concept “For All the Students!”, FIT offers hands-on education in the core fields of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), environment, and manufacturing for our students to evolve as key contributors to our society.
FIT is comprised of nine undergraduate majors under three leading faculty: the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Information Engineering, and the Faculty of Socio-Environmental Studies. The Graduate School of Engineering and the Graduate School of Socio-Environmental Studies embody the Graduate School of FIT, housing a total of two Doctorate Degree Programs and nine Master’s Degree Programs.
Our campus is located just 14 minutes away by a rapid train from JR Hakata Station which is the hub for all destinations around the Kyushu area.
